I wanted to pass on my thanks and support for the Nelson Yacht Club and the Aurora Lounge following our recent AGM and Annual Awards Dinner in August.
The venue was light, airy, clean, and really easy to use. Communication with you was clear and straightforward, and your in-house catering team did a fantastic job – you all truly went above and beyond to make sure the night was a success.
As a not-for-profit Association representing marine farmers across Te Tau Ihu, we’ve considered countless venues across the upper South Island but have often found they were too small for our event or well outside our budget. For these reasons, we’ve held the event in Marlborough for many years. It was the quality, accessibility and value provided by the Nelson Yacht Club that inspired us to bring it back to Nelson after such a long time, and we’re so pleased we did. The venue created a welcoming, community-focused atmosphere that everyone absolutely loved.
