It is our turn to host the Nelson & Marlborough Regional Championships this season. The event is scheduled for the 5th & 6th December 2026, and we are very grateful to Solander for coming on board again as headline sponsor. Their support helps us to;
- provide a Green Fleet event with no entry fee to encourage first time youth sailors,
- keep the entry fee down for youth sailors,
- keep powerboats fuelled, and
- support our amazing volunteers with lunches etc… whilst they run the racing.
The event will play host to various South Island Championships and traveller series events. This season, as we look ahead to the 2027 Zephyr Nationals in March, we expect a good turnout of Zephyr sailors for their South Island Championship.
Other classes are invited to contact us on manager@nelsonyachtclub.org.nz if they are interested in hosting a Traveller Series event, or their South Island or National Championships in Nelson.
